Consultant

Lauren is a consultant at Symmetra who brings a wealth of experience in Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy design, systemic audits & reviews and the development of Inclusion skills workshops for Executive Leaders and key stakeholders.

Lauren has experience working across a range of diverse industries and sectors such as: Financial Services, Universities, Retail, Oil & Gas and Aviation and as such, has a thorough understanding of these industries and their current challenges with D&I.

Lauren has further experience engaging with clients to build out their core D&I strategy and inclusion plans and conducting D&I policy reviews and design. She has supported the delivery of engagements through best practice market research and assisted with providing an in-depth analysis of the opportunities of these client engagements as well as finding key priority interventions to address their D&I gaps.

Lauren previously has a background in audit and accounting and together combined with her experience and passion in D&I, can bring a strong analytical lens to support and create lasting cultural change for clients.

Lauren is also a Body Attack Instructor at Fitness First Australia and is passionate about health and exercise in driving a positive balance in wellbeing and mental health.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Commerce/Science, UNSW
• Chartered Accountant Diploma
