
Teresa Aradhana Hinds
Manager
Teresa is an applied sociologist who uses social science research and methods to drive positive change. She is a Sociology PhD candidate, focusing on how social structures shape thought and conscious experience, at the New School for Social Research in New York City, where she also completed her Master in Sociology with a concentration on structures of opportunity & inequality.
Teresa is Third Culture Kid (TCK) and spent her formative years living in the West Indies, South America, North America, and Europe. Prior to moving to Columbus in 2018, she played an integral role in connecting and strengthening the TCK community in New York City. Her commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is rooted in her international experience and deepened understanding of the importance of finding and cultivating the feeling of belonging.
Teresa has over 10 years professional experience as a trusted DEI partner and change agent, and has worked with private, public, non-profit, grassroots, and educational organizations. Her achievements have included successfully bringing her strengths in systems and design thinking to addressing DEI challenges in retail banking services, social work interventions, public health initiatives, media programing, and education policy.
