Laylat al-Qadr

Laylat al-Qadr falls in the final third of Ramadan, the month in which it is believed the Qur’an began to be revealed.  Ramadan is the most venerated and blessed month of the Islamic year and a number of religious observances are kept by Muslims during this time; including the practice of fasting from dawn until dusk – an important detail to keep in mind for breakfast meetings or luncheons.

Laylat al-Qadr is considered the holiest night of the year as it commemorates the revelation of the Qur’an’s first verses.
