Conundrum of Flex White Paper

Symmetra’s White Paper discloses the disturbing findings from surveys of 473 senior executives worldwide, showing that negative bias towards flexible workers was found in 85% of organisations.

These findings have material consequences in the workplace, leading to unfavourable treatment of flexible workers with respect to pay, allocation of assignments, promotion, sponsorship, mentoring and other opportunities – in essence, leading to systemic disadvantage for flexible workers.

The substantive findings of our White Paper, contrast the leaders’ deep seated associations against empirical data and the Paper concludes that there is little or no objective evidence to support these negative biases against flexible workers.
