Creating a Culture of LGBTQ+ Inclusion
As Pride Month approaches and challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community continue to compound, there is no better time than now to introduce this training to your organization.
Organizations can choose between the 60-minute where we will talk about the differences and connections between biological sex, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation, or the 90–minute extended workshop where we will apply these concepts to workplace scenarios.
This educational workshop is the perfect way to grow your employees’ understanding of diversity and help build that culture of LGBTQ+ inclusion, while simultaneously equipping them to embody the values of your organization.
Why our workshop is critical
to your organization
Did you know that recent studies have found that nearly half of all LGBTQ people are still closeted in the workplace? Or that in 2023, more than 650 anti-LGBTQ bills have been introduced across the US, which is more than double the amount in 2022? These are just two of countless reasons why it is critical to focus on creating a culture of LGBTQ+ understanding and allyship for this community.
Our Pride Workshop explores various areas related to this topic. Participants will leave having gained more awareness of best practices around creating an inclusive environment and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
