Danni Cameron is a proud Yuibera woman living and working on Bundjalung Country and the Director of BlackBirds Culture, a national organisation dedicated to strengthening cultural capability, leadership development and Indigenous-led approaches across communities, education, government and corporate sectors.
Danni brings more than 20 years of experience across education, counselling, leadership development, community engagement and Indigenous health, to build culturally responsive leaders, high-performing teams and inclusive workplaces. She has designed and facilitated leadership, cultural capability and workforce development programs for government agencies, universities, Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and corporate organisations, helping leaders navigate complexity with confidence, authenticity and cultural humility.
Recognised for her engaging and relational facilitation style, Danni creates environments where participants feel safe to challenge assumptions, deepen self-awareness and engage in meaningful conversations that inspire personal and organisational change. Drawing on Indigenous ways of knowing, being and doing, she combines storytelling, yarning, reflective practice and evidence-informed leadership frameworks to deliver practical, engaging and transformative learning experiences.
Danni is committed to advancing culturally responsive leadership, workforce capability and community-led innovation. Her work focuses on strengthening relationships, embedding Indigenous knowledge systems and supporting organisations to move beyond cultural awareness towards genuine partnership, accountability and lasting impact.
