Allyship

Building an inclusive workplace culture requires a complete team effort. Attempts to create a safer and more equitable organisation by only a few has little chance of producing sustainable behavioural change.

This is why allyship is so important in any DEI initiative. To see meaningful change, all members of an organisation must advocate and actively work towards the inclusion of marginalised employees.

Symmetra works to ensure that everyone in an organisation becomes an ally. We do this by providing essential education on unconscious biases, discriminatory language, micro-aggressions, etc. and then provide the tools and resources to address personal and organisational flaws and blind spots.
