Ilona Magur

Ilona is a senior talent, culture, learning and organisational development leader who brings to the Symmetra team over twenty years of experience in the design, development and implementation of initiatives across several different sectors including the Professional Services, Health, Government, FMCG, Travel, Mining and Resources sectors.

She has developed organisation-wide learning and organisational development strategies across areas such as; mental health and employee wellbeing, leadership, conflict resolution, project management, problem solving and decision making, continuous improvement, customer service, career transition, induction, and change management. This has included developing, facilitating and providing coaching for several global leadership development programs.

Ilona has also been instrumental in facilitating cultural transformation, completing organisation-wide workplace assessments to identify concerns and risks associated with culture, engagement, inclusion and workplace wellbeing (psychosocial risk), and then providing and implementing the associated recommendations. This has included the design and delivery of talent management solutions including attraction and retention strategies, career pathways, employee referral programs, on boarding and exit processes, psychometric testing for recruitment and for leadership development, performance management programs, development planning and succession planning.

Ilona is passionate about and committed to supporting organisations with the effective implementation of evidence-based Diversity and Inclusion initiatives across the entire employee lifecycle that deliver positive outcomes for employees and for the business.
