Joshua’s qualifications in Economics and Physics bring a fresh perspective to the field of diversity and inclusion, where he has spent the last 15 years working at the leading edge of the industry for the international boutique consultancy, Symmetra.
His experience, coupled with his passion for bringing together eclectic and disparate ideas to create new paradigms, put him in a unique position to expand Symmetra’s horizons in its growth markets in EMEA and the Americas, and nurture global connections.
Joshua has been successful in conceptualising, designing, and delivering the product and service solutions that meet the needs of private and public sector organisations. Joshua has also designed learning and change programs on flexible working & hybrid teams, psychological safety, cross-cultural intelligence, unconscious bias, inclusive meetings and communication; created methodologies for measuring inclusiveness at the individual and organisational level; and designed scalable digital learning solutions such as Symmetra’s Inclusion Bite Size Learning and Inclusion Foundations.
He has worked on projects for some of the world’s largest companies across APAC, Europe and North America, and in his role, he consults with a range of stakeholders to design organisational inclusion strategies and leadership development solutions that enable diversity to drive business outcomes. Joshua regularly delivers presentations to a range of small and large audiences, from executive teams to human capital communities in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and the USA. He is also a casual faculty member for the UTS Advanced MBA Program, where he delivers a diversity and inclusion laboratory as part of the degree.
