Philip (PJ) Jackson

Philip Jackson (PJ) is a consultant and facilitator with more than 16 years of experience across People and Culture, diversity, equity and inclusion, leadership capability, and organisational change. He brings a strong background in people and culture business partnering and has worked closely with executives, leaders and teams to strengthen culture, build capability, and deliver practical change across complex environments.

His work spans DEI strategy, leadership development, employee engagement, workplace wellbeing, policy development, workforce planning, and HR systems improvement. PJ is particularly focused on helping organisations embed inclusion into everyday practice by connecting strategy to behaviour, systems and decision-making. He is known for translating complex topics into clear, practical actions that leaders and teams can apply in real workplace settings.

With deep experience in inclusion strategy and implementation, PJ has led work across gender equity, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, accessibility, cultural inclusion, and workplace wellbeing. In his previous role as Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at QIC, he was responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide inclusion strategy while partnering with executives and teams to position inclusion and wellbeing as a business priority. He also founded and chaired QPride, led key inclusion initiatives, and co-facilitated QIC’s Everyday Inclusion Workshop.

PJ’s consulting style is practical, structured and outcomes-focused. He works collaboratively with clients to understand context, priorities and challenges, and to identify strengths, gaps and opportunities. As a facilitator, he creates engaging and psychologically safe learning environments that support reflection, discussion and meaningful behaviour change, using practical tools and real workplace scenarios to move learning beyond awareness and into action.
