Sahera Sumar

Sahera brings a wealth of global experience as a leadership consultant, facilitator, coach and presenter with a passion for designing inclusive leadership solutions with organizations. She has worked in consulting for 15 years, in over 25 countries within multinational corporate organizations, community building and international development projects.

Sahera’s focus is on human capacity building, leadership development, strengthing inclusive organisational culture. She has extensive experience designing and facilitating bespoke and innovative leadership and culture solutions that strengthen diversity and inclusion. Sahera is particularly committed to accelerating women of diversity into positions of influence and leadership and has launched a social enterprise that connects aspiring women to global mentors.

Sahera has worked on a wide range of programs such as “Leaders of Change: World Bank project in Africa and Malaysia, WHO Laboratory Manager’s program design , global HR conference UAE, and working in remote Central Asia on leadership capacity building programs. Her approach is innovative, human-centered design and has included corporate actors, equine learning and neuroleadership principles to deliver impactful programs. She has worked with executive teams to frontline supervisors, leadership conferences to assessment / development centers.

Sahera’s other major projects include constructing a global leadership competency framework; designing multinational cultural strategy from articulation of mission, vision and values to aligning the culture to support the growth and scalability of multinational steel company. She has also worked with Schneider Electric, Ramsay Healthcare, Telstra, Hasbro, Pfizer, Johnson and Johnson, Edwards Biomedical, VW Australia, MMD Steel Africa and AKDN.
