There is no denying that contemporary businesses face a new set of challenges in the workplace. With the world around us constantly changing and evolving, there is little time to adjust to the transformations that are taking place in our everyday experiences.
Today, the need for a diverse, equitable, and inclusive (DEI) workplace culture is intergral to innovation, attracting and retraining talent and productivity.
This brings us to the most pressing question in our workplaces: How do we implement DEI strategies on a global scale?
With this in mind, we have partnered with Herbert Smith Freehills to host free events in Sydney and Melbourne on the topic of Creating a DEI culture at scale – How to build an inclusion movement.
About the series of DEI events
This series commenced in July this year and will conclude in November. Throughout the series, DEI experts will be sharing valuable insights on a host of topics that can help businesses adopt or revamp their inclusive cultures.
Symmetra Connect events in Sydney and Melbourne are hosted by Herbert Smith Freehills and are scheduled to commence in September 2022, where participants will be able to gain valuable insights from Symmetra’s Principal Consultant of Digital and Innovation Carly Wilkinson about:
- Overcoming inertia and tackling the obstacles that may stop you before you get started
- Scaling up influence through allies, advocates, and role models
- Leveraging peer networks and the power of human connection
- Targeting behaviours, habits, and mindsets
Carly will speak about how leading organisations are adapting and scaling their businesses, how to engage people to create an inclusive culture, and the latest trends in DEI that can help your organisation reach its DEI goals.
