Course overview

This module provides you with an overview of the Respect at Work Act 2022, sexual harassment laws and appropriate behaviours. It clarifies common myths surrounding sexual harassment and identifies those most at risk in the workplace. Most importantly, we learn how to move become an upstander, providing practical strategies to actively support respect and inclusion in the workplace.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this module, you will be able to:

  • Understand why sexual harassment occurs, including key drivers and risks

    Understand key legislation from the Respect at Work Act 2022.

    Identify your rights and responsibilities under the law.

    Challenge common myths and misconceptions about sexual harassment.

    Catagorise various forms of inappropriate behaviour.

    Apply respectful behaviour principles and move from Bystander to an Upstander
